Founders Double Trouble IPA

Brewery:  Founders
ABV: 9.4 %
IBUs:  86
Availability: Seasonal from January to May
Method (draft, can, bottle):  Draft
Description:  The Founders Double Trouble IPA pours a dark golden orange color and has plenty of hops that will satisfy any Hophead.  This beer has very floral hop aroma but the scent also ranges anywhere from citrus, to light pineapple, to tropical fruits.  There is a nice balanced malt flavor that lends itself to a smooth bitter finish and reminds me of some of my favorite pints that I had while in England.  Our suggestion would be to drink the Double Trouble IPA closer to room temperature instead of either cold right off the tap or right out of the fridge.  This allows a majority of its flavors to surface which you will definitely enjoy.   Sadly, Founders has deemed it as a seasonal release in their line-up so good luck in the hunt, because this one is worth trying.
