Description: This organic English cider is a light golden straw color when poured. You can smell the apples used in the making of this cider and a hint of floral apple blossom, but it is not an over powering scent. Unlike some American ciders I have had that almost border the line of juice, this cider from Samuel Smith’s is dry but not extremely tart and would be perfect on a hot summer day. When tasting it I was not able to determine what variety of apple was used, but it is hard to linger on that fact when this cider is so enjoyable. As all ciders should, this must be served cold to keep the crispness If you have never tried an English cider before, this would be a great starting point.
